📄 GuardHub Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

   By accessing or using GuardHub (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

   GuardHub is a workforce management platform designed to manage shifts, operations, and pay cycles.

2. Eligibility

   GuardHub is available exclusively to employees managed through the PARIM platform.

   • You have legal capacity to agree to these Terms
   • All information provided is accurate and complete

3. Account Registration

   To access certain features, you may be required to sign in with a Gmail account using Google OAuth authentication.

   • Keep your credentials secure
   • You are responsible for all activity under your account
   • Notify us of unauthorized access immediately

4. Use of the Service

   You agree to use GuardHub only for lawful purposes.

   You must not:

   • Use the Service for illegal activities
   • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
   • Disrupt or interfere with the Service
   • Misuse workforce or payroll data
   • Reverse engineer or copy the platform

5. User Data & Content

   You retain ownership of the data you provide, including:

   • Shift schedules
   • Employee and operational data
   • Payroll information

   You grant GuardHub permission to process and store this data solely for providing the Service.

6. Data Storage & Infrastructure

   GuardHub uses secure cloud providers such as:

   • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
   • Firebase (authentication, database, hosting)

7. Service Availability

   We strive to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

   • Maintenance may occur
   • Temporary outages may happen
   • Features may change or be discontinued

8. Intellectual Property

   All GuardHub branding, software, and content (excluding user data) belong to GuardHub.

   • No copying or redistribution
   • No modification or derivative works
   • No unauthorized use of branding

9. Third-Party Services

   GuardHub may use third-party services such as:

   • Firebase Authentication
   • Google Cloud services
   • Analytics providers

10. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate access if:

    • You violate these Terms
    • Required by law
    • Necessary for system security

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

    GuardHub is provided “as is” and “as available”.

    • No guarantee of error-free operation
    • No guarantee of uninterrupted service
    • No guarantee of meeting user expectations

12. Limitation of Liability

    GuardHub is not liable for:

    • Loss of data
    • Business interruption
    • Financial losses
    • Indirect or consequential damages

13. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms. Continued use means acceptance of changes.

14. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by applicable laws (e.g., Ontario, Canada).
